This is an ONSITE role located at: 100 Throckmorton Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Merchant Application Specialists makes customer service a top priority. You will work closely with sales partners and other cross functional teams to review, interpret, process and resolve pending applications.

  • Analyze, review, interpret, determine course of action, and coordinate follow up of pending applications

  • Collect information to finalize the application underwriting process

  • Make outbound calls as necessary, and provide frequent status updates to our sales offices and cross functional teams

  • Promptly correspond and investigate application issues, inconsistencies, or questions with merchants and supporting departments

  • Communicate discrepancies and generate solutions for merchant applications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: (Required)

  • HS/GED and 0 years experience

  • Computer skills, including MS Word and Excel

  • At least 1-2 years of application processing or industry experience

  • Understanding of credit reports, processing and risk as well as financial, checking and processing statements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Desired but not required)

  • College Degree

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Uncanny attention to detail possessing a sound accuracy record on previous data entry work

  • Capable of organizing work for self and others to maximize productivity and increase efficiency

  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities

  • Strong work ethic
