Position Highlights

• Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244

• Work Environment: Supervisor for a Mother Baby unit

• Texas Health Alliance is a Baby-friendly and Texas 10-step designated facility.

• 42-bed Postpartum/Newborn, couplet care

• Average between 160 to170 deliveries per month and increasing volume

• 8-bed NICU/Neonatal ICU

• 4 OB/ED bays

• 14-bed LDR’s

• 2 OR suites

• Work hours: Full-Time – Nights – 2 -12 hour shifts 7p-7a and 1-12 hour shift in the office

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance is a 98-bed, full-service hospital offering acute care and wellness programs to communities in North Fort Worth, Keller, North Richland Hills, Haslet, Justin and surrounding areas. Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

• BCLS – upon hire – expiration date greater than 3 months preferred

• NRP –within 60 days of hire

• 2 Years experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Req

• 2-3 years of RN experience in Mother/Baby and Antepartum strongly preferred

In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will

• Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

• maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients

• possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism

• have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
