Position Highlights
Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244
Work Environment: Supervisor for a Mother Baby unit
Texas Health Alliance is a Baby-friendly and Texas 10-step designated facility.
42-bed Postpartum/Newborn, couplet care
Average between 160 to170 deliveries per month and increasing volume
8-bed NICU/Neonatal ICU
4 OB/ED bays
14-bed LDR’s
2 OR suites
Work hours: Full-Time – Nights – 2 -12 hour shifts 7p-7a and 1-12 hour shift in the office

Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
BCLS – upon hire – expiration date greater than 3 months preferred
NRP –within 60 days of hire
2 Years experience as a clinical nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Req
2-3 years of RN experience in Mother/Baby and Antepartum strongly preferred
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
