Description

Robert Half Finance and Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnered with a 30 plus year old manufacturing company for a Plant Controller. My client has been recognized as one of the top employers to work for, prides themselves on having large community involvement, is a global leader in their industry that is rapidly growing and financial stable.

The Plant Controller is key accounting and finance leader for this plant location. The Plant Controller partners with corporate on financial planning, analysis and strategic initiatives and on a local level works closely with plant operations handling the daily accounting operations, cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets, financial reporting and making recommendations to optimize company financial performance.

My client offers a comprehensive benefits package, bonus program that has paid out above target for the last 8 plus years, is family oriented and treats their employees like family.

Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 7+ years of progressive accounting, finance and cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. CPA or CMA are highly preferred but not required. Direct experience with a major ERP system, Business Intelligence Tool and advanced Excel knowledge is required.

Requirements

Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 7+ years of progressive accounting, finance and cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. • Possession of a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the development and execution of an Annual Budget.

• Demonstrated skills in Budgeting and Budgeting - Forecasting.

• Proficiency in Forecasting trends and variances.

• Ability to conduct Inventory Variance analysis and Monthly Variance reports.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Variance Analysis.

• Adept at performing Inventory Analysis and conducting Inventory Audits.

• Experience in Strategic Planning and execution of financial strategies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or similar is considered an asset.
