You will be the Project Engineer supporting the F-16 Project Engineering New Business Capture & Proposal Team.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Lead F-16 proposals during all phases of a proposal (pre-RFP to contract award) to successfully capture F-16 business; includes Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Not To Exceed (NTE), and Firm proposals.

• Lead and coordinate with subject matter experts and proposal integrators throughout the enterprise to develop and deliver engineering input for all proposal documents, artifacts, schedules, and estimates.

• Support shaping of proposals – particularly technical requirements – to best position LM Aero to win new F-16 contracts. Interface with Program Management, Finance & Business Ops, and other functions to support proposal development and negotiation.

• Support quick-turn ROM estimates, often relying on similar-to efforts or other supporting data to submit estimates with minimal opportunity to coordinate with functional engineering.

• Provide proposal briefings and coordinate approvals for IFG Engineering leadership through Executive Planning Panel (EPP).

• Coordinate scope changes and ensure communication to engineering stakeholders and program leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proposal development experience.

• Project Management or Project Engineering experience.

• Experience developing and managing a project schedule.

• Experience leading a cross-functional team.

• Bachelor's degree with a STEM major required.

• Interim Secret or higher security clearance.

Desired Skills:

• F-16 Experience

• Continuous Improvement / problem solving certifications.

• Demonstrated organizational skills with specific experience managing conflicting priorities.

• Demonstrated analytical skills, solving complex technical problems.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
