Description

Role Description

This is a permanent on-site role for a Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, including expediting, project management, inspection, and logistics management. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.

Qualifications

  • Expediting skills

  • Thorough knowledge of building systems

  • Tilt-wall experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience in the commercial construction is required

  • Determine and define scope of work and deliverables

  • Predict resources needed to complete project

  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites

  • Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements

  • Manage costs in order to meet budget Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts

  • Manage construction schedule and activities

  • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines

  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes

  • Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships

  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
