Quality Operations Specialist Location: Fort Worth, TX Job ID: #69576 12 month contract Pay Range: $28-48 Position Summary: •The Contract-Quality Operations Specialist supports compliance in Quality Operations and all associated customer contractual requirements. •This position is responsible for supporting First Article Inspection Planning, Quality Inspection Instructions, and planning review board activities in coordination with other Quality personnel and the Planning Operations team. Experience: •Must have a minimum of 3 years or related experience •Must have experience with first Article Inspection Planning in accordance with AS9102 •Must have advanced GD&T experience. •Aerospace quality experience preferred. •Familiar with machine parts and gear manufacturing and inspection techniques •Familiar with advanced composite part manufacturing and inspection techniques •Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Power Point, Access, Word and Excel). Position Responsibilities: •Creation of Quality Inspection Instructions, identifying within the planning routes the appropriate inspection placement. •First article management in accordance with AS9100/AS9102 and company policies. •Work in cross functional teams including but not limited to Quality Engineering, Inspection, Planning, engineering and leadership. •Ability to extract and interpret complex models for Catia V6 & 3DX for use in Advanced Quality Planning Activities. •Ability to navigate MES systems: CAMS, SAP ECC, SAP PEO •Maintain compliance of configuration management through audit, evaluation, and tracking. •Understand and make decisions based on engineering, contract, and procedural requirements. •Independently determine and develop solutions that are compliant with policies and procedures. •Perform duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines. •Other duties and projects as assigned by leadership. Education: •Associate’s college degree. Relevant experience and technical training will be considered in lieu of degree.
