TexasBank Sr. Financial Planning Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas

**SUMMARY: The Sr. Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for forecasting, planning, reporting and financial analysis of TexasBanks financial data.

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyze financial performance, market trends, and economic indicators to identify improvement areas.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Collaborate with teams for strategic planning data and insights, preparing and presenting reports to senior management.
  • Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, risk evaluation, interest rate sensitivity models, validation, decay studies, back testing, and pre-purchase analysis of investment securities.
  • Assist in developing annual budgets, long-term plans, and strategic initiatives, including calculating net interest income and explaining variances.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to various departments within the bank as needed.
  • Regular attendance of Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings and representation of TexasBank in routine meetings.
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for Model Risk, SOX, Internal and External Audit, and other regulatory requests.
  • Regular and routine use of platforms and softwares such as Axiom and Jack Henry.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  • Other tasks and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
  • A minimum of five years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related field, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., Finacle, SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPA, Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
