We are offering a contract to permanent job opportunity for a Staff Accountant position in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is within the real estate industry and will be a crucial part of the finance team, focusing on tasks such as accounts payable, month-end close, and journal entries. Our client is a leading property development company known for delivering innovative and high-quality real estate projects. Client pays 100% of benefits once converted over as a permanent employee! Responsibilities:

• Use Yardi Software to review and process invoices and payment requests accurately and promptly

• Reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies found

• Ensure the accurate and prompt payment of vendor invoices and employee expense reports

• Assist with the execution of month-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and financial reporting

• Create and post accurate and compliant journal entries using Yardi Software

• Support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Use Yardi Software to analyze financial data, identifying trends and variances

• Identify and implement improvements to financial operations processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Participate in system upgrades and enhancements related to Yardi Software.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is a must

• Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Capability to handle Journal Entries efficiently

• Experience in Month End Close operations

• Proficiency in Yardi software is desired

• Previous experience in Commercial Property Management

• Must have knowledge of Property Accounting
