Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented System Integration Business Analyst Intern to join our Aeronautics Business Transformation Strategy and Business Agility organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, project management, and strategic planning within the dynamic field of aeronautics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business transformation initiatives.

• Process Improvement: Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance business agility and efficiency.

• Project Support: Provide support for various projects, including documentation, scheduling, and coordination of tasks.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and other key indicators.

• Research: Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to support strategic decision-making.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information System, or a related field

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree with a graduation date of 08/2025 through 07/2026

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• US Citizenship required due to system access

Desired Skills:

• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).

• Experience of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean)

• Interest in the aeronautics industry and business transformation

• Previous internship or work experience in a related field

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $53,664 - $61,672. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
