Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer, Electro-Optical in Fort Worth, Texas

This position is for an Electro Optical Infrared (EOIR) Systems Engineer. The candidate selected for this position will work with LM internal teams and LM product suppliers to plan, develop, produce, and sustain EOIR Subsystems (Hardware, Software, and Firmware) on an Advanced Development Program.

Responsibilities also include generating, reviewing, updating engineering documents and presentations, coordinating with the Principal Engineers and other key stakeholders, performing subcontract management of products, and interfacing/coordinating with various internal-to-LM and external-to-LM customers. The candidate will need to be able to employ their education and experience to successfully perform planning, integration, test, analysis, documentation, verification, and maintenance of Electro Optic Infrared systems.

Travel may be required to Customer facilities and Lockheed Martin sites.

The selected candidate must be a US citizen and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Secret prior to start of work, and must maintain a DoD Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a SAP/SAR clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM related discipline

- Must meet minimum experience requirements

- Must be able to obtain and maintain program clearance

Desired Skills:

- Familiarity with Avionics, EW/CM, Radar, CNI, EO/IR Sensors or Fusion Systems

- Previous military aircraft program experience

- Experience working with PLM software

- Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
