Overview
Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia is seeking an experienced, an experienced , energetic and team oriented Primary Care (IM or FM) Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Foster City, CA. We are a multi-specialty group that is a physician led and patient centered organization. We are affiliated with Sequoia Hospital and aligned with one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the nation and the largest hospital system in California.

Compensation/Benefits Include:
Compensation Range*: $120,000 - $150,000/year
Sign on, productivity and quality bonuses
Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans and CME allowance
Work from home 1 day per week

Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Provide clear and concise medical information.
Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures:
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
Perform procedures as needed
Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement:
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance:
Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Continuous Learning:
Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience
A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
Completion of state mandated educational courses
Pay Range
$57.69 - $72.11 /hour
