What you’ll be doing:

  • Coach multiple small to large development teams in the delivery of software products using Scrum and/or Kanban practices within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises).

  • Plan and coordinate with the teams through defined Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe rituals (daily stand-up, sprint planning, demos, board reviews, retrospectives).

  • Guide the teams in implementing enterprise agile best practices and encourage team members to understand and embrace the responsibilities of their SAFe roles as defined by the organization.

  • Employ various enterprise and ad-hoc empirical methods to expose and communicate blocks and improvement opportunities to the team and management.

  • Evangelize the importance of relentless improvement and coach the teams through empirical based improvement cycles.

  • May guide work of more junior Scrum Masters.

  • Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts of the Agile Program Office including attending and sometime leading various communities of practices.

  • Collectively help to define, document, and communicate best practices, standard processes, and the use of Evidence Based Management (EBM).

What you bring to the table:

  • Ability to perform work under minimal supervision.

  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and various Agile subject matter. Specifically agile foundational practices with respect to Scrum, Kanban, and the SAFe framework.

  • Servant Leadership mentality combined with coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group as well as management.

  • Demonstrated ScrumMaster experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. Experience coordinating multiple teams in a technology environment.

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing and explaining technical and project related information to stakeholders.

  • Ability to easily build new relationships and proactively establish a variety of contacts across the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance concurrent activities.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent), or 5 + years of experience managing large engineering programs.

  • Scrum Master Certification or equivalent prefer SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM)

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAFe Certified ScrumMaster certification or equivalent

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification or equivalent

  • Project Management Institute – Agile Certified Professional or equivalent
