Bavarian Inn Restaurant Facility Cleaner: 4am - Noon in FRANKENMUTH, Michigan

Facility Cleaner: 4am-Noon

15-40 hours per week | Wage: $13.50 per hour | Shift Examples: 4am-12pm (only our early morning shift is open right now, but we also have a team that works noon-9pm that may be available to pick up shifts occasionally)

Summary: The Bavarian Inn Restaurant is looking to add new faces to our detailed facility cleaning team to keep our kitchen, retail, dining, & office areas clean. Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a positive attitude is a must! Responsible for cleaning all restrooms, dining rooms, lobbies, kitchens, retail, offices, and basement storage areas according to Bavarian Inn quality standards of cleanliness and sanitation. What would YOU be doing?

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms daily: Ensure all restrooms are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and restocked with necessary supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. (This may occasionally include sanitizing biohazard areas; utilizing appropriate products and procedures to safely and effectively clean and sanitize areas affected by vomit, feces, urine, blood, and other bodily fluids.)

Emptying trash bins around the building: Regularly collect and dispose of trash from various areas including guest spaces, offices, kitchens, and break rooms.

Sweeping, mopping, and degreasing floors: Maintain cleanliness of all floor surfaces in kitchens, guest areas, team member hallways, retail areas, and storage rooms, ensuring they are free of grease, dirt, and debris.

Vacuuming and dusting: Keep all carpeted areas and upholstered furniture clean by vacuuming regularly, and dust surfaces including shelves, ledges, and fixtures.

Washing walls, doors, windows, and elevators: Clean and sanitize walls, doors, windows, and elevator interiors, some of which may require working from ladders.

*Cleaning/sanitizing restaurant equipment and machinery: *Focus on high-contact and high-use equipment such as fryer vents, hoods, and other kitchen machinery, ensuring they meet sanitation standards.

*Linen sorting and distribution: *Manage the sorting and distribution of linens including tablecloths, linen napkins, bar and kitchen rags, ensuring they are clean and available for use.

*Cleaning and organizing administrative areas: *Ensure offices, conference rooms, and other administrative spaces are clean, organized, and presentable.

*Polishing furniture and fixtures: *Regularly polish and clean all furniture and fixtures to maintain a clean and inviting appearance.

Cleaning and organizing storage areas: Keep storage areas organized, ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are stored properly and are easily accessible.

Maintaining outdoor areas: Clean and maintain the exterior of the building, including sweeping entryways and cleaning windows.

Replenishing supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, restroom supplies, and other necessary items to ensure they are always available.

Deep cleaning: Periodically perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, power washing, and thorough cleaning of kitchen and dining areas.
