Join our team at Bavarian Inn Restaurant and become a pivotal part of our interactive guest experiences, including Pretzel Rolling and Bourbon, Wine, & Beer Tastings! We are looking to build a team of enthusiastic individuals who can work on an as-needed basis, as we host a variety of experiences each week. Each experience takes about 3 hours in total. Additional hours may also be available within other positions in the business.

Job Summary:

  • Pretzel Rolling Experience: Act as the guide through the enchanting process of pretzel making, where every twist and turn becomes part of a delightful narrative. From dough preparation to baking, you will create an engaging and memorable experience for our guests while you instruct them on how to make the perfect pretzel.
  • Bourbon, Wine, & Beer Tasting Experiences: Play a leading role in our intimate tasting sessions. You'll captivate guests with stories of tradition and craftsmanship, provide guests with insights into the flavors, and nuances of different selections... all while creating a theatrical atmosphere that enhances their appreciation of each sip.
  • Preparation and Setup: Behind the scenes, ensure that every detail is perfectly arranged before showtime. From pretzel dough preparation to setting up tasting stations, your meticulous planning sets the stage for a flawless performance.
  • Engagement and Instruction: Step into the spotlight to greet guests, set the scene for each experience, and guide them through the tasting journey with flair and enthusiasm. Your ability to entertain and educate will ensure guests leave with fond memories.
  • Guest Service: Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating their needs, answering questions with a touch of theatrical charm, and ensuring a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere throughout each experience.
  • Completion and Clean-Up: As the curtains close on each session, encourage guests to take home a piece of the experience with beverage or merchandise purchases. After the final applause, swiftly clean up the stage to prepare for the next captivating performance.

Basic Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a flair for storytelling to engage guests in a theatrical and fun manner.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage props, materials, and timing for each experience.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and safety procedures.
  • Ability to perform independently and collaborate effectively in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Previous experience in culinary arts, hospitality, or performing arts is a plus, but not required.
