Retail Supervisor: Royal Gift Shop

Full Time + Benefits (Part Time also an option)  |  $14-$16 per hour  |  Shift Examples: 8am-4:30pm; 1pm-9:30pm; 10am-7pm

About Us: Our Royal Gift Shop is a haven for over 5,000 treasures, from much-loved collectibles to authentic German items, including steins, nutcrackers, and traditional German clothing. We also offer exquisite jewelry, contemporary artwork, crystal, and much more. Our mission is to exceed guest expectations by providing high-quality merchandise and top-notch service in a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise, train, and mentor team members on the sales floor, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Guest Experience: Ensure every guest receives exceptional service, helping them find the perfect items and providing a memorable shopping experience.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including setting up and closing the shop, stocking merchandise, and maintaining clean, organized displays.
• Team Development: Conduct performance evaluations, document attendance, and address policy and standard adherence, always striving to motivate and inspire the team.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our diverse range of products to assist guests effectively and drive sales.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in retail or customer service
• Minimum of six months in a leadership or supervisory role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 15-35 pounds as needed
