About the Role:
As a CBRE Sr. Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team responsible for developing and identifying new large and high-profile commercial opportunities and marketing efforts.
This job is part of the Client Services Job Function. They are responsible for providing daily advice and support to clients that need assistance with business products and services.
What You’ll Do:
Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
Develop and put in place commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to speed up growth.
Conduct complex market research and evaluation to create business plans on commercial opportunities and establish new customers.
Understand the requirements of existing customers and manage relationships to ensure their needs are being met.
Work with the marketing department to create national marketing strategies that align with overall department branding efforts.
Build and manage profitable partnerships with key stakeholders.
Manage the performance of team activities using metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own subject area, and how own subject area integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job subject area.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. 2
Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job subject area, multiple job subject areas, and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive approach.
Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Commercial / Contracts Manager position is $130,000 annually and the maximum salary is $140,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
