Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description

As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with handling month-end activities, creating journal entries, and performing GL and account reconciliation and analysis. Your role will also involve analyzing inventory, reconciling the balance sheet, creating reports, and handling bank reconciliations and daily bank updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for posting monthly accrual journal entries, managing fixed assets and depreciation, and conducting financial reporting and preparing supporting schedules. You will prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting and assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. The role requires working with minimal supervision and assisting both internal and external auditors during audit engagements.

Hard Skills

  • 1+ years of accounting experience

  • Bachelors in Accounting preferred

  • Experience with SAP is a plus

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Frankfort, Kentucky.
