Description
SUMMARY
The primary mission of this job position is to assist internal and external customers with customized and kitted product requests. This encompasses all aspects from providing quotations, coordinating artwork and/or kitting requests and processing orders received from multiple channels including, phone, web, live chat, email and fax.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in the customization techniques, including Pad Printing, Screen Printing, Embroidery, Decals.
- Understand various artwork file formats and compatibility with customization equipment as well as their role in creating customer proofs such as vector, png, eps, ai, jpeg etc...
- Maintain high level of knowledge of SAP with regards to products, orders and customer master information.
- Enters and follows through on all custom orders from time of entry through delivery to customers.
- Coordinates with appropriate departments and vendors to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of customers' custom orders.
- Responds to and enters customer orders submitted by phone, fax, and mail or in person.
- Enters and/or updates customer information in computer system. Assists customers with product selection.
- Handles and processes customer inquiries such as: product selection, sample and catalog requests, returned merchandise, order as needed items, price quotes, special pricing, status of orders, etc.
- Makes follow-up calls to customers regarding order information.
- Supplies information to team leader with regard to customer feedback concerning satisfaction of service or products.
- Responsible for maintaining and referencing current manufacturers' product literature.
- Continual self-education through the use of training sessions, reading materials, catalog review, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
- Previous customer service experience performed at a high level along with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment necessary.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency of customer service procedures and related computer software to including SAP, Microsoft and Quoting Database.
- Excellent phone and Customer Service skills with good voice tone when talking with customers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks. Must exhibit strong organizational and accuracy skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Type proficiently 35-45 wpm.
- Able to work independently or within a team environment. Appropriate dress for business setting with good personal hygiene habits.
