Aerotek Maintenance Engineer in Franklin, Indiana

Urgently Hiring Maintenance Technicians/Engineers in Franklin IN!

Description:

This company supports the electric automotive industry. They are the global leader in design, manufacturing and apply of wire and cable products. They're looking for maintenance technicians interested in long-term opportunities, with advancement opportunities available to those motivated by continuous improvement within the maintenance department.

Shift Available :

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Starting Pay Range :

$25 - $30/hr. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Electrical, Mechanical and PLC troubleshooting.

  • PLC troubleshooting will include Omron and Allen Bradley brands.

  • Candidates will be required to troubleshoot but will not need to program.

  • Click PLC's are used which are very simple to figure out and understand.

  • Electrical troubleshooting includes 3 phase motors, switches, sensors, servo drives and VFD's

  • Mechanical troubleshooting includes hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, pumps, motors, belts, and roller conveyors.

  • Preventative Maintenance is completed once a month where the entire line is shutdown.

  • This process takes 4-5 days before the machinery is running again.

  • On a day to day basis, technicians will be responding to call and completing work orders.

  • They will need to communicate with the production staff and engineering team to complete repairs efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves

  • Electrical troubleshooting; 3 phase motors; VFD's (3 plus years)

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting - hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, motors, pumps

  • Self motivated, ability to troubleshoot/work alone at times, ability to communicate effectively

Nice to Haves :

  • PLC Troubleshooting

  • Part ordering experience/inventory
