Seeking a Civil Engineer in the Middle TN area! Job Description

We seek a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to various engineering and project documentation tasks. You will assist in preparing due diligence reports, construction documents, drainage reports, specifications, and construction schedules/estimating. Utilize reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to evaluate soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data. Apply various jurisdictional requirements, including Zoning and Subdivision Regulations, to engineering design. Develop engineering drawings from concept through final construction documents, including Site Layout, Grading/Drainage, Utilities, and Erosion Control Design using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Support zoning, ordinance, permit assessments, and cost estimates to determine project feasibility based on collected data. Provide field observation services as needed, apply engineering knowledge and best practices, and collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments. Understand and apply client standards, specifications, codes of practice, and risk tolerance, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
