Description

Established Non-Profit client in Franklin is immediately seeking a part time bookkeeper for their organization.

In this role you will be in charge of entering and processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and a strong proficiency in QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online. Responsibilities:

*Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our client using QuickBooks Online.

*Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and donations. Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

*Bank Reconciliation: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

*Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.

*Grant Compliance: Work with program managers to ensure proper financial reporting for grants and compliance with grant requirements.

*Audit Support: Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with a focus on nonprofit accounting.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.

• Must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours a week in office(can be flexible on days)

• Position is also available on a full time basis should 40 hrs be required.
