Fortive Corporation UX/UI Designer in Franklin, Tennessee

Position Summary

Censis Technologies is seeking a talented and passionate UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for healthcare software applications. As a UX/UI Designer at Censis, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products and websites, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, attentive to detail, and has experience with working successfully in matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing at customer sites to gather insights and validate design decisions for new products and existing product enhancements

  • Lead the creation of interaction and visual artifacts (like: wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes) by reviewing business requirements and implementing designs to help the business achieve their goals

  • Collaborate and consult to facilitate relationships with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Developers by understanding business goals, advocating for the user, explaining design processes and artifacts, implementing feedback, and understanding the technical feasibility of design

  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI-UX design and healthcare technology

  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

  • Design and enhance website experiences to ensure a cohesive and engaging user journey across all digital platforms

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in UI-UX design of software and websites, preferably in the healthcare industry and/or experience with workflow applications

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, Loop 11, Sketch, JavaScript, Java, CSS, HTML or similar

  • Experience in design thinking and using best practices for product, website and mobile app designs

  • Experience in leveraging AI for new product designs

  • Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design work and process

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems

  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards, workflow dynamics and regulations is a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Education

Bachelor’s degree in UI-UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field or equivalent experience.

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 100,700.00 - 186,900.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
