Our client, in Somerset, NJ is seeking a warehouse Purchasing Assistant to join their team. This is a Temporary 3 month role with a possibility of extension. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be part of the Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will have SAP, Microsoft Office, and Ability to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.

Job Title: Material Purchasing Associate

Location: Somerset, NJ

Pay Range: $25 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Purchase Goods, Materials, Components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.

• Support the Purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems.

• Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedule.

• Assist in coordinating and scheduling Raw materials deliveries.

• Ability to handler materials/boxes/shipments up to 50 lbs.

What’s Needed?

• 3-5 Years of experience in chemical procurement.

• Strong background in inventory control, MRP, materials.

• Experience with business systems such as SAP, Kronos, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).

• Must be able to work in an environment with a strong fragrance odor present.

• Good Organizational skills, Time management, and mathematical skills.
