Trinity Health Maintenance Tech - Part Time - Fraser Villa in Fraser, Michigan

Description:

Fraser Villa is seeking a  *Maintenance Tech * for its community in Fraser, MI!

General Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the grounds, community, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, policies and procedures

  • Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in established maintenance policies and procedures.

  • General maintenance throughout community may include: basic plumbing (installing faucets, repairs, drains, etc), basic electrical, HVAC, perform repair on community equipment and kitchen equipment.

  • Painting and refinish of furniture and fixtures as assigned. Floor Care including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing and disinfecting, etc. Calibrate thermostats and other minor pneumatic equipment and repairs. Operates and tests generator and performs preventive maintenance as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Minimum 6 months experience as a healthcare mechanic preferred

  • Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
