Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Maryland. This full-time position is dedicated to supporting our mission of delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical settings and a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

• Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and drawing blood.

• Maintain accurate patient records using Athena EMR software.

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.

• Provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.

Essential Skills:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.

• 2-5 years of experience in a clinical setting.

• Proficiency in Athena EMR software.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Doctors who have immigrated to America and are now medical assistants do not need to be certified to interview for this role.

• Bilingual abilities are a plus (English fluency is required).

Work Environment: This position is based in a primary care setting, working alongside physicians and patients. Our work environment is supportive and collaborative, with a strong focus on professional development and growth. You will be expected to communicate effectively with physicians about patients' vitals and conditions. Our practice is rapidly growing, with three locations in Maryland: Hagerstown, and Baltimore City.
