The BOMAG 2200-75 milling machine is a heavy-duty piece of equipment designed to remove existing asphalt surfaces from roads, parking lots, and other paved areas with precision and efficiency. The asphalt milling operator will be responsible for setting up and adjusting milling machines, following project specifications, and ensuring the proper depth and width of the milling process. Note: The pay rate for this job is $34 - $37 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including the BOMAG 2200-75 milling machine, skid steer loaders, and backhoe

• Remove old asphalt layers and prepare surfaces for repaving

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery

• Monitor the milling process to ensure the appropriate depth and width

• Assist in transporting machines as needed

• Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance and work performed

 Qualifications:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience operating asphalt machinery.

• Class A license Preferred.

• Clean driving record with the ability to pass a tier 1 background including MVR.

• Prior skid steer/backhoe experience a plus in addition to asphalt milling equipment.

• This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
