Location/Division Specific Information:

7302 Executive Way, Frederick, MD

We are HIRING at our distribution center in Frederick, MD. This state of the art facility will provide additional distribution capacity for finished goods on the East Coast and help build a seamless supply chain to improve our customer experience.

Shift Information:

AFTERNOONS / Monday - Friday

Start time is 10:30am (end time varies depending on volume but max 10 hour days).

Compensation: 19.50/hr + 10% Shift Differential + full time benefits + merit and annual bonus eligibility

How Will You Make an Impact?:

This isn’t your ordinary job. As a Material Handler you will help deliver various types of products from life-saving personal protective equipment to everyday lab essentials. You will provide shipping, receiving, storage and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory, materials, supplies, parts and equipment.

A Day in the Life:

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements

  • Sustain a high level of quality to ensure customers receive accurate product and in the time requested.

  • Receive materials and/or finished goods daily.

  • Verify the quality, type and number of materials received are accurate and appropriate documentation is present (e.g. packing list).

  • Safely operate distribution equipment, as required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Band 1 (Distribution):

  • Required: No previous work experience required

  • Preferred: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field

  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (59–86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and/or freezer-room (minus 4 – 23 degrees F).

  • Walk, stand, reach, and lift up to 40lbs on a continuous basis.

  • Push and pull up to 40lbs .

  • May occasionally sit, kneel, crouch and crawl.

  • May handle “packaged” hazardous materials.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $13.82–$20.73.
