Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a General Laborer and become an essential part of our fabrication shop’s daily operations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the shop runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Cleanup : Prepare work areas and ensure they are tidy at the end of the day.

  • Material Handling : Load and unload materials and equipment.

  • Tool Operation : Use basic hand tools and machinery.

  • Support Team : Assist fabricators and welders with their tasks.

  • Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the work environment clean and organized.

  • Safety First : Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

  • Additional Duties : Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience : Previous experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment is a plus.

  • Physical Ability : Capable of performing physical labor, including lifting heavy objects.

  • Skills : Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.

  • Attributes : Strong work ethic, reliability, good communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Learning Attitude : Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Work Environment:

  • Pace : Fast-paced and repetitive.

  • Type : Construction-related pre-fabrication shop.

  • Safety Gear : MUST wear steel-toe boots and safety glasses.

  • Dress Code : Long pants and t-shirt.

  • Hours : 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday) with plenty of overtime opportunities.
