Associate Product Manager, eCommerce

Position Summary

The Associate Product Manager, eCommerce is responsible for maximizing the value of technology investments for L. L.Bean and ensuring their success through the entire life cycle. This role will work with business and development teams to prioritize efforts to optimize and enhance product(s) based on business objectives for critical parts of the customer journey.

This role is designed for someone with relevant work experienc e , an interest in deepening their Product Management skillset, a deep analytical background , and who is excited to join a fun and growing team. Must have a passion for ecommerce, customer experience , and building and optimizing engaging and efficient user flows .

We welcome the opportunity for this role to be hybrid based at the corporate headquarters in Freeport, Maine, or to be based remotely in the following states : Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create a market-leading customer experience

  • Manage and prioritize product roadmap , in collaboration with leader , soliciting input from stakeholders, securing approvals, and ensuring product priorities are unders t ood by all

  • Lead epic prioritization and user story creation, partnering with Business Analyst, to develop meaningful user stories with clear, measurable acceptance criteria

    M onitor and communicate the effectiveness of key customer journeys and/or investments

  • L everag e CX insights and Web analytics tools (GA) to surface questions to the Analytics team that drive insights informing the roadmap.

  • U ncover insights leveraging digital experience monitoring tool Quantum Metric

  • Contribute to testing pipeline aligned with product and business strategy to inform prioritization and drive eCommerce growth

    Translate business needs into innovative solutions

  • This role require s excellent communication skills to understand business requirements, communicate product vision , and to deliver insights and results to stakeholders .

  • Works with stakeholders and SMEs across the org to inform and advocate for opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive business value from technology investments

    Requirements

  • Strong strategic thinking , and practical planning skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner wi th business and technical teams in addition to vendors

  • Understanding of retail industry domains from a customer and technical perspective

  • A n ability to synthesize different data to identify and articulate opportunities

  • F lexible with regards to changi ng priorities & business needs

  • Self-sufficient

  • Proven ability to learn on the job

  • Experience with web analytics (GA preferred) required; experience with Quantum Metric, Tableau and SQL nice to have

  • Demonstrated curiosity about and ability to research and co mmunicate the opportunities and uses of new technology with the context of business and customer needs

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced changing environment

    Minimum Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent, preferably in a technical or quantitative discipline

  • 3-5 years work experience with relevant product management experience preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in GA 4 and other analytics tools preferred

  • Strong understanding of retail industry domains, both from a customer and a technical perspective

  • Basic understanding of software development methodologies
