Job Summary

As a Resident District Manager (RDM), you will manage a large multi-unit dining account with FLIK Hospitality Group. You will serve as our point of contact for the client, lead the team within the account, and manage the overall operation.

You will provide planning and direction within your account to achieve operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment. Additionally, as an RDM you will maintain strong client relationships and work to fulfill our mission at FLIK and share our passion for food and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, run, and encourage a diverse team at a large account to provide detailed service to clients, students, and the community.

  • Drive and develop self and team towards building positive relationships with clients and the achievement of key performance indicators such as profitability, safety, and employee engagement.

  • Contribute to the district leadership team and actively engage in continuous discussions to share standard methodologies, reduce risks, promote diversity, and foster a sense of community.

  • Ensure decisions are weighed for risk/reward and short/long-term implications while gathering input from the team and partners.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, understanding, education, safety, and accountability.

  • Represent the FLIK team at key client and community events.

  • Meet or exceed client needs, retain accounts, find cross-sell opportunities, and assist in the rebid process as advised.

  • Support functional areas of operation, including safety, marketing, nutrition, and culinary.

  • Ensure adherence to local, state, federal, and company policies, and conduct unit audits.

  • Maintain compliance with USDA regulations and complete all required reporting on time.

  • Champion development within the account, conduct performance evaluations, and succession planning.

  • Own financial results for the account, ensuring accuracy in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

  • Coordinate all policies and procedures consistently and fairly.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three (3) years of management experience, preferably in food service, hospitality management, or other Hospitality support services areas.

  • Proficient in all aspects of food service management with a proven track record of success.

  • Proven track record of leading a business and a team, strong customer service, and good business and financial competence.

  • Strong initiative, critical thinking, ownership, communication, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills.

  • Accepts an inclusive approach and demonstrates proactivity, positivity, integrity, and resilience.

  • Excellent digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and POS software.

  • Occasional travel is required.
