As a process engineer you will be in the front lines to ensure that all our process information is leading edge and kept up to date. You will be responsible to make sure all proper calculations and reviews have taken place. This position has the ability for flexibility with a hybrid schedule allowing the ability to work remotely as well as in the office.

As a Process Engineer III, You Create Chemistry By...

  • Providing process engineering support for capital project process design, process simulations, process safety and environmental permitting. Process Engineering support of Process Safety and Environmental Permitting help to ensure the safety of the plant and establishment of permit boundaries for plant operation.

  • Processing Engineering Support for capital project scope development. (PFD’s, P&ID’s, Specification Sheets, Equipment sizing, instrument data and line list data etc.)

  • Supporting Economic and technical evaluation of Alternatives

  • Preparing all process information for safety reviews and participating in safety step reviews and appropriate VIP’s, as well as Supporting Environmental/ Regulatory Permit calculations

  • Being responsible for Process simulations, process engineering studies and for PSV revalidations and maintaining PSV calculations for assigned plant(s) - includes attaining BASF QA/QC and HFC certifications as part of skill development (competency in G-P-SF 710, N-P-HE 250, pressure relief handbook, deficiency evaluation process, etc.)

  • Developing and/ or maintain Process Simulations for Operating Units (Aspen Models, BJAC, etc.) and participating in PSM/RMP, BASF EHS auditing process, and PHA revalidations, based on BU/GEC agreement

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, or related degree or equivalent blend of knowledge and experience
