Primary Job Duties

As an Accessory Shop Technician on the 206 Crew, you will be responsible for auditing and maintaining aircraft cabin interior appearance. You will perform component replacement and maintenance on appearance items in accordance with manufacturer maintenance manuals, SkyWest GMM, and under that direction and supervision of the maintenance department in the interest of flight safety.

  • You will be responsible to become familiar with and understand the GMM

  • You are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards

  • Keep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition at all times

  • You will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machinery

  • Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary

Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license

  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Read, write and understand English

  • Must have mechanical experience and or aptitude

  • Must work well with others

  • Willing to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) Days of the week to be determined

  • Must be willing to work weekend shift when needed

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED or education equivalent required

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Must be able to lifts 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

  • This is a full-time position, starting at $ an hour

  • This is a nightshift job working on the 206 crew
