Description We are looking for a meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with managing both accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accurate.

• Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses.

• Manage both the accounts payable and receivable.

• Utilize software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct data entry duties related to accounting.

• Communicate with customers to resolve any billing issues.

• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications.

• Take appropriate action on any issues with customer accounts. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Experience in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing and Invoice Processing procedures

• Strong data entry skills

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
