Tyler Houk (Practice Director) with Robert Half is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in Fresno, California in the Food & Food Processing industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting complex financial analysis, managing data sets, and making strategic recommendations based on your findings. You'll also work closely with various teams to optimize business processes and strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive analysis and generating reports on supply and demand for grape-supplied businesses.

• Managing and maintaining extensive data sets, including the W& GS data warehouse, for thorough analysis and strategic recommendations.

• Designing and refining data connections, queries, reports, and dashboards outside of enterprise systems.

• Applying analytical methods and tools to interpret complex data, supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.

• Monitoring industry trends and internal metrics to anticipate both immediate and long-term business needs.

• Contributing to the development of the company's wine and grape supply strategy.

• Participating in the review and improvement of departmental procedures and performance metrics, ensuring they align with business objectives.

• Driving process enhancements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing data-driven solutions.

• Collaborating with diverse teams across the organization to consolidate information, develop cohesive strategies, and ensure successful project execution.

• Liaising with IT and other technical departments to define business requirements for data integration and reporting.

• Developing and maintaining analytical tools and frameworks to convert complex data into clear, actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

• Keeping up-to-date with technological advancements, adopting new tools and techniques to enhance analytical capabilities and workflow efficiency.

• Assisting in integrating new system tools into the W& GS team’s workflow.

• Conducting special financial and business studies as required.

Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis within the Food & Food Processing industry

• Proficiency in budget processes and forecasting

• Strong ability to perform complex financial analysis and develop complex financial models

• Experience in variance analysis and KPI reporting

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT and numerical abilities are crucial

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other teams and stakeholders

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work under pressure

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
