Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Fresno, California. This role involves ensuring that our food products meet high standards and comply with all regulatory requirements. It requires monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control procedures to maintain product consistency and safety. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor production processes to ensure they comply with quality and safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing facilities and equipment
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain product consistency
• Handle EO/IR systems effectively to ensure product quality
• Perform auditing tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Utilize automation tools for efficient quality control processes
• Manage defect tracking and resolution to maintain product quality
• Maintain accurate documentation and batch records for quality control procedures
• Ensure proper equipment calibration to maintain production quality
• Oversee raw material inventory to ensure quality and safety of products
• Handle consumer complaints effectively and implement corrective measures
• Manage document control processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality assurance practices
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Manufacturing industry
• Proficient in EO/IR systems
• Experience in Auditing, with a focus on supplier audits
• Familiarity with Automation processes and their application in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to manage Defect Management processes, including identification, analysis, and resolution
• Experience in Documentation, specifically regarding Batch Records and Document Control
• Knowledge of Equipment Calibration procedures and standards
• Experience in managing Raw Material Inventory
• Ability to handle and resolve Consumer Complaints efficiently and professionally
• Familiarity with the creation and implementation of Policies and Procedures to ensure quality standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
