Summary:
Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Nutrition & Wellness. (Clinical Nutrition), this position is responsible for Supervising the functions pertaining to the nutritional care of the patient and clinical duties of registered dietitian nutritionists (RDN’s). Oversight and expertise is provided to diet offices on clinically-related items such as menus, item compliance and formulary. Represents the Nutrition Services Departments in multidisciplinary health care teams and is responsible for maintaining effective communication and cooperation with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve patient care goals. Responsible for managing compliance with all regulatory agency requirements. Adheres to Saint Agnes Medial Center’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Saint Agnes Medical Center.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in nutrition/dietetics. Master’s preferred.
1-2 years management or supervisory experience.
Minimum 3 years of clinical (hospital practice) professional experience.
Registered by the Commission of Dietetic Registration. Licensed by the State of California Department of Health. Member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet hospital-driving requirements.
Mandatory Reporter.
Maintains a professional, collaborative work environment so as to foster a positive public image.
Knows and adheres to all laws and regulations pertaining to patient health, safety and medical information (i.e.HIPAA, Stark, etc.).
Maintains knowledge and competency that reflects current clinical dietitian practice.
Working knowledge of CBORD and Diet Office functions.
Pay Range:
$41.00- $61.50
