NCR Atleos is seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Director of Infrastructure Operations who will report to the Corporate Vice President. This Executive Director is responsible for data centers, lab environments, the technologies that support them, and other special projects as assigned. The candidate will lead direct and matrixed teams in planning, preparing, deploying, and maintaining environments critical to these areas.

Responsibilities for ED, Infrastructure Operations

  • Develop and maintain data center and lab strategies, plans, and procedures consistent with industry best practices.

  • Ensure that data center management processes are regularly reviewed, audited, and updated to align with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and the evolving business landscape.

  • Partner with global facilities, infrastructure teams, application teams, operations, and business partners as necessary to ensure there is global strategy and consistent operational coverage of critical data center and lab environments.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Operations, Legal, IT, Cybersecurity, Executive leadership, and other relevant organizations.

  • Direct and oversee the implementation of global lab strategies.

  • Provide regular status updates and executive briefings to executive leadership and appropriate stakeholders as appropriate.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce cost, streamline processes, and otherwise further green initiatives such as lower power consumption.

  • Lead data center and lab training and awareness programs for team members, contractors, and partners.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to management of these critical environments.

D esired experience for ED, Infrastructure Operations

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in global infrastructure environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

  • Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to lead in high stress situations and engender confidence in times of crisis.

  • Experience with incident response and management in complex, global organizations, preferably in technology or financial services

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate with C Level Suite Executives and Business management.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

  • Strong understanding of technologies, tools, and systems used in incident response and management.

  • Committed to process improvement.

  • Ability to lead, grow, and develop global teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Master’s degree.

  • 10+ years of experience combined in incident management, software engineering, infrastructure operations, and technology leadership.

  • LEAN and/or Six Sigma training is a plus.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

  • ITIL training and certification preferred.

Work Conditions:

·Office location will be in Atlanta GA or Dallas TX.

  • Must work in office at least 4 days per week.

  • May require occasional travel including international travel.
