TIAA Gen AI Engineering Lead/Architect in Frisco, Texas

Sr Lead Architect

The Senior Lead Architect oversees the development of multiple types/categories of technical architecture and operating systems for running end user applications. Working in partnership with other leaders, this job develops and implements new products, processes, standards and operational plans that directly impact the department. This job is a recognized master in the Information Systems Architecture field.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Leads complex architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.

  • Audits systems design and technology constraints in accordance with compliance requirements.

  • Oversees development of key capabilities and performance requirements when developing system architectures.

  • Approves technical specifications and standards for layered and multidimensional models.

  • Delivers solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.

  • Communicates the design of the technical architecture clearly to other leaders within the organization.

  • Develops complex data modeling and implements advanced project management processes.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Career Level

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of full stack engineering experience using things such as Python, React and API development.

  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS stack

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

  • 2+ years experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Multi-tier architecture experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a Lead role previously

  • Knowledge of Gen AI and LLM is highly preferred

  • Hands on experience in Full Stack development

  • Experience in emerging technologies such as cybersecurity and blockchain

  • Proficiency with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, testing frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code

  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying, testing, managing, and monitoring cloud services in production environment

  • Comprehensive understanding of security best practices, performance, monitoring, automation, escalation, and site reliability

Base Pay Range: $128,300/yr. - $188,600/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
