Warehouse Worker on 1st Shift

Job Description

Candidates will work in a warehouse environment, using their hands continuously throughout the day. Responsibilities include using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and hammers to disassemble electronics. Computer/data entry experience is required as the company uses a proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel for inventory purposes. Primary projects involve the disassembly of computer components, outdated/damaged server racks, and memory banks. Workers will generally lift up to 40 lbs regularly throughout the day. The company rotates workers through several departments in the warehouse, so tasks may vary slightly from day to day. Steel toe or composite boots are required from day one while working on-site.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Front Royal, Virginia.

Work Environment

This is a warehouse located in Front Royal, VA, where old computers, racks, servers, etc., are wiped of their data and information and either resold or destroyed and the metal sold. The company will cross-train everyone into all different departments. This is a teamwork-oriented environment, so candidates must be able to work well with others. Strong attention to detail is necessary for sorting material.
