1st Shift Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Candidates will work in a warehouse environment, using their hands continuously throughout the day. They will use basic hand tools like screwdrivers, drills, and hammers to disassemble electronics. Computer/data entry experience is required as the company uses a proprietary internal system and Microsoft Excel for inventory purposes. The primary projects include the disassembly of computer components, outdated/damaged server racks, and memory banks. The role involves regularly lifting up to 40 lbs.

The company rotates workers through several departments in the warehouse, so tasks may vary slightly from day to day. Steel toe or composite boots are required from day one while working on-site.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Front Royal, Virginia.

Work Environment

The company operates a warehouse in Front Royal, VA, where they take old computers, racks, servers, etc., wipe them of their data and information, and either resell them or destroy them and sell the metal. The company will cross-train everyone into different departments. This is a teamwork-oriented environment, so candidates must be able to work well with others. Strong attention to detail is necessary because they will be sorting material.
