Amentum is currently seeking a Systems Engineer I to support the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, Fort Belvoir, VA . This position will afford you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team whose mission is to provide and rapidly deliver enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities, which provides combat overmatch and facilitates mission execution.

As a Systems Engineer I you will be expected to provide the following support to the Project Manager Soldier Survivability:

• Participates in systems engineering activities including requirements analyses, functional analyses, design solutions formulation, systems analysis and control, and generation and maintenance of systems architecture products.

• Assists in formulating systems engineering documents, processes, procedures and milestones.

• Capable of acquiring knowledge of the Systems Engineering Management Process and Implementation, as applied to the Department of Army/DOD Acquisition process throughout all life cycle phases.

• Assists with design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting.

• Assists in preparation of technical documentation such as specifications, engineering drawings, system interface requirements, and engineering changes.

• Reviews test plans, procedures, and reports for technical adequacy on assigned programs, for both Government and contractor tests, as well as all failure reports.

• Reviews and evaluates system performance against specification requirements, monitors and assesses field performance, and assesses risk of meeting user and specification requirements.

• Reviews program management documents to ensure accuracy and adequacy of technical content.

• Manage Systems Engineering on assigned programs with oversight from Senior, Master

• Mechanical Engineer or Government Engineering lead.

• BS Engineering

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
