Actalent Assistant Project Manager in Gaithersburg, Maryland
Description
Regal Glass is looking to add an APM to assist in growth. Position will support the President and PM with any project support needs. They will be the liason between client and GC/Owner
Responsibilities:
Assist to;
• Manage and oversee all aspects of glass and glazing projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project success
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of all tasks
• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure project success
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress
• Manage project budgets and ensure projects are completed within budget
• Evaluate project outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement
• Help coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Review of work plans and contribute ideas for cutting costs.
• Carry out weekly and daily operational reporting in an accurate and timely manner.
• Facilitate communication between office and field staff.
• Track and directly report project status updates to project manager.
• Help problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project.
• Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with contract specifications.
• Help create, manage, and maintain project budget.
• Coordinate and execute daily administrative tasks.
• Help create and adhere to project timeline and calendar.
• Consult with and gather information from inspectors, engineers, subcontractors, etc.
• Maintain positive vendor and client relationships.
• Ensure project adheres to set schedule and is meeting goals of the client.
• Prepare contract to be closed out with all information required by the customer which includes as-built drawings, videos, & punch list.
• Maintain job files.
• Working with sub-contracts, utilities and other Stake holders.
• Review subcontractor video, match, and approve the invoices.
• Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in civil construction management
• Experience with sewer and water projects a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and AIA
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Skilled collaborator
• Excels in a high-paced work environment.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to multi-task effectively
• Focused and supportive of management at all times

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Glass & Glazing, Commercial Glass, Commercial Glazing, Glass Project Manager, or Glazing Project Manager
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong ability in responding to Request for proposal (RFP).
• Strong background in construction and construction management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $44.00
