Randstad Federal is seeking a Deputy Technical Lead in support of a fedeal program at IRS

location: Gaithersburg, Maryland

job type: Contract

salary: $75 - 85 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

Background with the ability to plan, define and support the software design patterns, approaches and strategies for the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for a software component or group of components.

Manage impact assessment efforts and produce or review estimates for new features, software changes or defect fixes. Provide technical guidance and direction to all teams on the project Serve as subject matter advisor for Team Leads Coordinate between various client organizations Support Architecture resources Keep abreast of new technology developments in the Integration Architecture and DevOps areas and bring them to client's attention as needed Ensure overall quality of the project and act as the escalation point of contact.

Resource Skillset should include:

• Active IRS MBI Clearance preferred.

• 7+ years working with specified software language as a developer

• 3+ years using Rational Team Concert or equivalent toolset

• Demonstrated Control-M experience (for ETL developers)

• Hands on Greenplum Experience

• IBM Rational Team Concert

• DevOps

• Technology stack

• Project Management and lead initiatives

• Skilled at Problem solving complexed issues

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels.

• Excellent time management.

• Experience with various technologies (SQL, Java,shell scripting, data warehousing, and etc)
