Position: Rotating Technician I Location: Galion, OH Job Id: 4274

1 Buckeye Pumps is looking for a Rotating Technician 1 to join our team in Galion, OH! As a Rotating Technician you will be responsible for working on and rebuilding rotating equipment. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: pipe fitting, manual machine work, material handling, measurements, vibration analysis, electrical work, laser alignment, installation and system analysis. What You'll Do: Dismantle equipment following manufacturer's guidelines and industry standards. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment and its components to spot signs of wear and tear. Troubleshoot potential causes of equipment failure. Provide clear information regarding necessary parts and any additional work required. Offer suggestions to enhance equipment reliability. Document all findings accurately in reports. Roll up your sleeves and paint equipment, prepping it for shipment. Load, secure, and transport equipment to its destination as needed. Keep the shop in shipshape condition through regular cleaning and organization. Other duties may be assigned. What You'll Need: High school education or equivalent required; Associate's degree/certification in mechanics or equivalent years of experience preferred. Valid Driver's License, ability to travel to customer sites. Must be willing to travel for training decided by management (ability to fly) Strong mechanical aptitude and capability to use shop equipment (Drill Press, Pneumatic Hand Tools, Horizontal Bandsaw, cutting torch) General knowledge of PC and ability to use Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook) Ability to use precision equipment (dial indicators, mics, calipers). Ability to read and understand dimensional drawing, exploded view drawings and cut section drawings. Experience using Hoist and Cranes OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Certified Ability to work on electrical components preferred, not required. Ability to run an engine lathe or turret mill preferred, not required.
