[T and E Fabrication is now seeking a structural steel welder with hands-on field experience to join our existing team. This individual will be trained into the role of Field Foreman and assume all relevant tasks for this position. Candidates for this position must be willing to travel during and after regular hours, occasional weekends, and weekly mobilizations out-of-state. Benefits are provided and will be discussed upon hire. Average pay for this position is between $28.00 - $37.50, which will be commensurate with experience. [Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: [Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. [Collaborate with contractors and team members to make approved modifications to comply with Blueprints and meet company standards and contractual timelines at build sites while ALWAYS maintaining rapport, cordiality, and professionalism as a representative of the Company. [Ensure job site safety according to industry safety protocols and procedures. [Fabricate structural steel components in the shop and at on-site projects as assigned. [Provide support to Owner and Shop Foreman occasionally as assigned on a task-by-task basis. [Safe operation of Company vehicles and equipment. [Document task completion as required. [Model good work ethic and reliable job attendance for other team members. [Supervise team members and assist in preparing appropriate tools and materials for field mobilization. [Assist, supervise, coordinate and manage field erection projects or occasional mobile welding projects to ensure the projects meet contractual requirements and Company standards.
