Job Description:GST is actively seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist in support of our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) Transportation Security Laboratory (TSL) customer working full-time at the FAA Technical Center at the Atlantic City Airport.Serves as the primary contact point of contact and responsible for Quality Management System and implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17025:2017 certifications up to the most current standard of all work performed. Working in a Laboratory Environment the Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will be capable of the following: Performing planning and scheduling, progress reporting, cost control, organization, technical risk analysis, acquisitions, quality assurance, and quality control on all submitted deliverables.The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will keep our DHS customer informed of ongoing technical/ administrative concerns, proficient in the use of personal computers, and has working knowledge of commercial software programs. This labor category shall be located on-site at the TSL (Hybrid Schedule is possible). The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will receive formal direction from the TSL Quality Manager and the COR throughout the life of this contract.The Configuration Management Analyst shall be responsible for:· Assist with implementing and maintaining International Organization for Standardization· (ISO) 9001:2015 registration and ISO 17025:2017 (or most current) accreditation activities;· Supporting the Laboratory Operations Quality Management Office.· Quality Assurance/Quality Management (QA/QC) support activities for the TSL; and· Providing Configuration Management (CM) and support for the TSL.· Maintaining equipment calibration records.· Supports program activities in the areas of project control and configuration and data management, status reporting, and other testing functions required to ensure that all test requirements are being met.· Provides word processing or technical writing support in the preparation of technical and administrative publications associated with engineering and scientific research, development, and testing, and related activities. · Performs word processing tasks requiring formal training, or performs technical writing tasks requiring a comprehensive technical knowledge of writing and editing practices and procedures· Writes plans, procedures; conducts audits, collects, analyzes, controls & archives data, and prepares reports· Receives guidance, as required, from supervisor and may work directly with task originator. The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist will provide all technical, business, and administrative planning; organizing; managing; coordinating; tracking; and program management in accordance with TSL Standard Operating Procedures and applicable DHS Management Directives.Requirements:THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: · Bachelor’s Degree in either a business, technical, or engineering field from an accredited college and 5 years Quality Management Experience or...· Associate’s Degree in either a business, technical, or engineering field from an accredited college and 5 years Quality Management Experience.· 5 years working in complex scientific, safety, or engineering related activities.· 5 years of experience knowledge of system testing and disciplined planning, execution, observation and reporting.· 5 years ISO experience· Capable of performing word processing or technical writing tasks associated with research, development, test, and evaluation activities with full effectiveness after a brief orientation period· Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office Suite products, MS Project, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Adobe Acrobat products.· Has excellent communication skills.· Current or ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance and DHS Suitability.· US CitizenTHE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION: · Previous DHS or laboratory experience.· Certified International Configuration Manager (CICM) Level I International Society of Configuration Management (ISCM)ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training· Previous DHS STATS experience.Travel:Limited travel may be required to FL or AL.GST is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status​​
