We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Galveston, Texas. This role revolves around managing vendor accounts and full cycle accounts payable within the accounting department. This position is 100% in office, Monday through Friday, and will be immediately interviewing. We highly encourage you to apply today, this position will not be available long!

Responsibilities:

• Manage vendor accounts, ensuring accurate processing and record-keeping

• Handle the full cycle of accounts payable, maintaining efficiency and accuracy

• Utilize accounting software systems for processing and auditing purposes

• Employ ADP - Financial Services for streamlined financial management

• Use Concur for travel and expense management

• Apply ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems for integrated management of core business processes

• Perform accounting functions as necessary, including account coding

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring smooth and effective functioning

• Implement accrual accounting principles in day-to-day tasks

• Use Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for this role.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a preferred qualification.

• Knowledge and understanding of Concur is highly desirable.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.

• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is needed.

• Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary.

• Previous experience in Auditing is desirable.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is a plus.
