Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field. No experience required.
Job Summary:
To coordinate and directly support the administrative and business management activities of a department or large division.
Job Duties:
Daily Census (daily printed reports from EPIC), enter data in the excel spreadsheet, keep a tally of the Newborn & ISCU admissions, keep a log in EXCEL of deceased babies, distribute spreadsheet by email at the end of the month.
Daily Newborn Screens (screens are received daily by mail & fax) enter information in EPIC. If abnormal screens are received, a letter is generated to be mailed to the parent/guardian for a repeat evaluation.
Access Database daily (discharged patient information is added to the database for physicians to run queries on babies in the NICU).
OB Consults (emails are sent from MS Forms to be added to the consult spreadsheet).
Maintain Neonatology clinic schedules (QGenda/AMCOM)
Create attending schedules for UTMB Clear Lake hospital.
Submit monthly additional pay for Neonatology faculty.
Schedule weekly Neonatology division meetings and prepare minutes and sign-in sheets for each meeting.
Retain and request updated medical license, DEA, and insurance document for each faculty member.
Asset Coordinator – monitor/track Neonatology division computers and technical equipment (assist with computer refreshes)
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
