Amergis Cath Lab RN in Galveston, Texas

RN CATH LAB

Location: Galveston, TX

  • Length : 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension

  • Shift : 40 hours a week, ( 4 x 10’s)

  • Special skills or experience needed :

  • Cardiac Cath

  • EP trained – hemodynamics

  • EP Studies

  • 3+ years of RN experience

  • RN license to practice in the State of Texas

  • BLS through American Heart Association (AHA)

  • Equipment used :

  • Mechanical ventilator

  • IABP

  • Impella

  • Implants

  • EP Ablation

  • Call requirements for the Cath Lab RN Position:

  • The call currently is eight days in a five-week period which includes one full weekend (Friday-Sunday) but worst-case scenario is 10-14 days.

  • There is call for the Cath/EP lab. Call starts once the last case is completed. The employee must respond to the call within 30-35 minutes. They must live close by. There is a requirement to wear lead as much as 20 pounds for 10-12 hours per day.

Rate:

Travel:$3001 weekly ($47/hr +$1121 weekly stipend)
