ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Patient Care: Engage in a rewarding clinical practice with a schedule that includes 2 half-day outpatient clinics per week.

• Teaching and Mentoring: Play a pivotal role in educating the next generation of medical professionals. You'll teach and mentor medical students, internal medicine residents, and endocrinology fellows, fostering their development and nurturing their clinical skills.

• Regional Impact: Serve several clinic locations throughout the southern Houston area. This role offers the flexibility and opportunity to make a significant impact across diverse communities, with travel to various clinic sites as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: MD degree or equivalent.

• Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship program.

• Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.

• Licensure: Eligibility for Texas medical licensure.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a passion for teaching & mentoring

• 3+ years operating their own outpatient practice

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.
