ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Patient Care: Engage in a rewarding clinical practice with a schedule that includes 2 half-day outpatient clinics per week.
Teaching and Mentoring: Play a pivotal role in educating the next generation of medical professionals. You'll teach and mentor medical students, internal medicine residents, and endocrinology fellows, fostering their development and nurturing their clinical skills.
Regional Impact: Serve several clinic locations throughout the southern Houston area. This role offers the flexibility and opportunity to make a significant impact across diverse communities, with travel to various clinic sites as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: MD degree or equivalent.
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship program.
Certification: Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
Licensure: Eligibility for Texas medical licensure.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Have a passion for teaching & mentoring
3+ years operating their own outpatient practice
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
